Made by Horror Fans. For Horror Fans.
Atmospheric, supernatural, and psychological horror games, made independently in Des Moines, Iowa.
Who we are
An independent horror studio in Des Moines, Iowa
Grewler Games is an independent horror game studio based in Des Moines, Iowa. We create atmospheric horror experiences built around exploration, suspense, and the unknown.
We're lifelong fans of horror in all its forms, from slow-burning psychological thrillers and supernatural mysteries to found-footage films and classic horror games. We love the genre, we love figuring out what makes it work, and we love bringing our own ideas to life.
We're a small, independent operation with a simple goal: make the kinds of horror games we'd want to play ourselves.
The developer
Meet the developer
I'm Tyler, the developer behind Grewler Games. I'm a software engineer by profession and an indie game developer in my spare time, based in central Iowa.
Grewler Games is a one-person studio, so I handle everything from programming and game design to building environments and bringing the finished games to Steam. It's a constant learning experience, but getting to create something from scratch and share it with other horror fans makes it worthwhile.
I'm always looking for new horror games, films, and stories to explore. If you've got a recommendation, an interesting project, or just want to talk horror, feel free to reach out!
